The Railway Recruitment Board departement (RRB) has announced a big and huge job offers for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot said to be (ALP). They are giving out about 9,870 job openings in different railway zones all over in the India. You can start applying from this job in the month of the April 12, 2025. The last date to send your form is from the May 11, 2025, before midnight. If you want to make any changes in your form, you can do it between on the date of the May 14 and on the day of the May 23. The exam date will be told later. These jobs are divided into 20 to the 21 railway zones. East Coast Railway has the most jobs about the (1,460), followed by South Central Railway about 950 to (989) and about the Western Railway 800 to (885).

How Students Can Apply About The Post & Application Fees
To apply for this recruitment, you must have passed Class 10 class and have a ITI certificate in trades like Electrician posts, Fitter posts, or Mechanic posts. People who have done about 3-year diploma or an engineering degree in related subjects can also apply this post.For the OBC candidates can be up to 33.4 years, and for the SC/ST candidates can apply till 35.33years. People with disabilities get 10 more years of age limit.Students from the General, OBC, or EWS groups have to pay about 400 to 500. For SC, ST, PwD, and women, the fee is only 200 to 250, and all of it will be returned after the first exam. This refund system helps everyone to apply without too much cost.
Selection Process & Other Details
The selection will happen in five steps. First is a test with 75 to 80 questions on maths, science, reasoning, and current events. Then after that comes a second test with more questions, followed by a special test to check thinking speed of the student. After that, original documents will be checked, and a medical test will make sure the person is fit for duty.
